KUBIK, DONNA CECELIA age 91, died Monday, June 19, 2017 at Brookdale Memory Care. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 23, 2017 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Fr. Robert McGraw officiating. Interment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. with a Rosary prayed at 7:30 Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Church. Donna was born September 15, 1925 in Barci, Yugoslavia...

Donna was born September 15, 1925 in Barci, Yugoslavia to parents George and Mary (Ticac) Grgich. She was very proud of her Croatian heritage. She was a devoted mother who loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Donna worked as a secretary for General Motors for 10 years and Grand Blanc Schools for another 16 years, retiring in 1982. Surviving are children Debra K. (Richard) Partridge, Judy L. (William) King, Susan M. (Phillip) Grant, and Barbara A. (Michael) Frey; grandchildren, Kristina, Ryan, Stephanie, Katie, Emily, Megan, Michael, Steven, Andrew, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Evan, Brielle, Jude, Sullivan, Quinn, Jenna, Benjamin, Audrey, and Spencer; sister-in-law Elaine Dunsire; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond Kubik November 17, 2016. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association or Medical Team Hospice.
