BURROW, GERALD BERNARD (Jerry), age 84, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away March 25, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. An inurnment will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery within the next couple of weeks. Jerry was born December 3, 1930 in Flint, Michigan to parents Duke and Oma (Pulliam) Burrow. He was raised in Grand Blanc and attended Grand Blanc High School. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army from 1949 and was honorably discharged in 1953. He was raised in Grand Blanc and attended Grand Blanc High School. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army from 1949 and was honorably discharged in 1953. He is survived by his brother Deloy Burrow (Norma) of Grand Blanc, nieces Sally Burrow (Wheeler) of Flint, MI., Lynn Burrow (Cloutier) of Houston, TX., Julie Burrow (LeBarge) of Goodrich, MI., Jennifer Burrow of Grand Blanc, MI., and nephew Jeff (and Molly) Burrow of Northville, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father Duke Burrow, his mother Oma Burrow (Beamish), his step-father Glenn Beamish,his brother Harold (Whitey) Burrow who passed in December 2014, his niece Jane Burrow and his only son Craig Burrow in 1975. Jerry worked for General Motors at the Buick Division in Flint, MI. for over 30 years. After retiring, he spent most of his time living in Texas, Nevada, and Arizona then moved back to his hometown in Grand Blanc several years ago. The family would like to express our sincere thanks to The Oaks of Woodfield, Assisted Living Center for their support over the past few years, especially to Kristy Watson, for her tireless dedication to providing loving care and support to Jerry and to our family for which we are eternally grateful.
